Allis Chalmers Farm Toys

Allis Chalmers tractors were a staple on the farm throughout the 1920's to the 1980's but can trace their roots all the way back to the 1840's when they began a manufacturing business.  It wasn't until after 1910 that Allis Chalmers entered into the farm equipment business.  Through various acquisitions of tractor companies, Allis Chalmers was able to produce a diverse line-up of tractors until 1985 when it was sold.  Today the Allis Chalmers history can be found in it's owner, AGCO, which purchased the company in 1990.

The Allis-Chalmers name, though no longer in existence can still be found on farms throughout North America. Many farmers are known to keep their farm equipment for many, many years, and driving the rural communities of the United States and Canada during planting or harvest season is sure to turn up a few sightings of Allis-Chalmers tractors and farm equipment

For toy tractor collectors, diecast Allis-Chalmers tractors are a popular choice to showcase agricultural equipment with a long history on farms throughout North America.
